Singing in the Rain

The silent-film romantic team of Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont is the toast of Tinseltown. While Lockwood and Lamont personify smoldering passions onscreen, in real life the down-to-earth Lockwood can't stand the egotistical, brainless Lina. He prefers the company of aspiring actress Kathy Selden, whom he met while escaping his screaming fans. Watching these intrigues from the sidelines is Cosmo Brown, Don's best pal and on-set pianist. Cosmo is promoted to musical director of Monumental Pictures by studio head R.F. Simpson when the talking-picture revolution commences. That's all right for Cosmo, but how will talkies affect the upcoming Lockwood-Lamont vehicle "The Dueling Cavalier"?

Don, an accomplished song-and-dance man, should have no trouble adapting to the microphone. Lina, however, is another matter; put as charitably as possible, she has a voice that sounds like fingernails on a blackboard. The disastrous preview of the team's first talkie has the audience howling with derisive laughter. On the strength of the plot alone, Singin' in the Rain is a delight. But with the addition of songs such as -- "You Were Meant for Me," "You Are My Lucky Star," "The Broadway Melody," and of course the title song -- the show becomes one of the greatest Hollywood musicals ever made.

Join us for this extravaganza of tap, singing, and comedy from Feb. 13-Mar. 1, 2015!

Kelly Willis and Bruce Robison

Married for 19 year with four children and more than 15 solo albums between them, husband and wife team Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis finally collaborated on a full-length album in 2013. Following the success of "Cheater's Game," they released "Our Year" in 2014. This collection of originals and covers goes right to the heart of what made Cheater's Game special: the pairing of these voices in a decidedly Texas take on traditional country music. John Fullbright is a singer-songwriter from Bearden, Oklahoma. In 2009 he released the album, "Live at the Blue Door" and three years later released his first studio album, "From the Ground Up". The Wall Street Journal crowned him as giving one of the year's 10 best live performances, and the album also earned him the ASCAP Foundation's Harold Adamson Lyric Award. "From The Ground Up" was nominated for Best Americana Album at the Grammy Awards.

One Night with Elvis

Donny Edwards was recently chosen as the first and only Elvis tribute artist to perform on the estate of Graceland. This Las Vegas Headliner will take you through the early years and Elvis' 70's concert era. This is considered the #1 Elvis show in the world. Special guest Dion Pride (son of Charley Pride) will perform. Opening the show with his oldies doo-wop will be the infamous Wayne King. Featuring the 9 member band Fever!

For Edwards, like many Elvis fans, his love of the King is a lifelong affair. "Ever since I was a kid I just remember listening to him and loving listening to him," Edwards said. "My parents said that when I was 2 years old they would play Elvis records and I would shake my leg kind of like him." Edwards spent much of his teen years and early adulthood being compared to Elvis, but it was in 2002, when he won an Elvis look-alike contest in Lake Jackson, that he began to wonder if it could be a career. He has performed around the United States and the world performing approximately 200 shows a year.
